As per the new directive of Government of India, normal passenger trains have been suspended till June 30, 2020 amid nationwide lockdown, courtesy COVID-19. But keeping in mind the condition of migrants, and other citizens, government has decided to continue the operations of special passenger trains and ‘Shramik’ trains. As the entire country entered the fourth phase of lockdown, new rules have been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

When you start booking a train ticket, keep in mind that the ‘Date of Journey’ will be the starting date of the train from the first station, i.e. New Delhi.
Details of Special and ‘Shramik’ Trains:
A total of 15 trains have been started from New Delhi Railway Station to different destinations which include:
1. Mumbai Central
2. Agartala
3. Bengaluru
4. Bhubaneswar
5. Howrah
6. Thiruvananthapuram
7. Dibrugarh
8. Bilaspur
9. Ranchi
10. Patna
11. Secunderabad
12. Chennai
13. Jammu Tawi
14. Madgaon
15. Ahmedabad
Train from New Delhi Station terminate at the above 15 stations and return back to the New Delhi railway station.

Other Important details:
1- Catering Charges are not included in the fare because this facility is not being provided.
2- Make sure you have downloaded the Aarogya Setu App on the mobile phone which you will carry while travelling.
3- While booking ticket, confirm that you have read the pop-up message on IRCTC website.
4- No blanket or linen will be provided during the journey.
